To provide an established, experienced, safe cattle registry for breeders of pedigreed Homestead and Miniature cattle; By providing registration certificates that will add measurable value to their cattle.
To set eligibility requirements for registerable Homestead & Miniature breeds of cattle;
To register eligible cattle, and provide owners with official Registration Certificates for breeds of Homestead & Miniature Cattle;
To provide record of each registered animal's entire known pedigree and to document its complete breed makeup, breed purity percentage, and all known ancestors;
To provide documentation and to increase awareness of heritage cattle (endangered rare breeds & bloodlines) with genetic merit;
To offer a searchable Herd Book database for all breeds, and to safely, securely maintain the database online with public access for posterity;
To provide documentation of all cattle in database with all known measurements and DNA test results;
To issue unique identification numbers to previously unregistered animals, with universally recognized breed codes, country and state of origin codes.
An animal registered in HCA will have official internationally recognized animal ID; helpful when dealing with export & import treaties, frozen genetics collection & storage agencies, and can advance eligibility for show classes in county fairs, state fairs, or any HCA recognized classes in Livestock Shows.

Donna Grace, owner of the Bucking V Outfit, LLC., circa 1999, has spent a lifetime in the agricultural sector. She is a lifetime A.I. technician. She judged livestock and horses successfully alongside national & world certified judges. She draws & produces artwork and illustrations depicting ideal livestock conformation. She raised herds (100s) of commercial cow calf beef cattle, herds of registered seedstock cattle (Polled Hereford, Limousin, Marchigiana, Simmental, Salers), and many bands (100s) of breeding ranch horses over 6500 acres in Montana on the Crow Reservation. She worked for Livestock Video Auctions and horse & cattle sale barns, with the MT Dept of Livestock brand inspectors. She was a vet tech for years in Montana, and experienced with exporting livestock and horses over the Canadian border. She conducted a lengthy horse theft investigation leading to recovery. She has started several livestock associations including the International Curly Horse Organization and North American Curly Horse Registry in 1999, the Heritage Horse Association, under which the the Curly Stockhorse Registry formed in 2014. She formed the Homestead Cattle Association in 2013, where today she maintains Homestead & Miniature Cattle Registry and Herd Books. In 2022 she joined forces with WebWatt, a Kansas ranch-based IT tech company, to produce customized registry services, websites & online member platforms for small and medium sized registries, slated for late 2023.
